Azur Lane: Hyperdimension Neptunia Crossover Event Guide

The English/Global version of Azur Lane is finally getting the Hyperdimension Neptunia crossover event that previously hit the Chinese and Japanese versions of the game. Since I usually do guides for Neptunia games and picked up the game just for this crossover, I figured I’d make a little guide for players in a similar situation.

Updates: 2018-11-28: It appears SP4 has the best drop rate for Nep Skin Boxes for cosmetic items

The event just released on 2018-11-22 and runs until 2018-12-05! Filled in most information. I streamed the event on the 22nd including pulls!

The Neptunia characters are viable/high rarity units (Elite and Super Rare, the top two in the game) so if you want to play with just/mostly the Neptunia games it should be pretty viable. Take my advice with a grain of salt though as I only dove in to get the Neptunia characters myself; as always corrections and questions are welcome in the comments below! Or in our Discord Server

Azur Lane Quickstart Info

Azur Lane is a fairly standard “mobage” style collection/RPG game. IF you’ve played FateGO, Fine Emblem Heroes, Food Fantasy, or hundreds of others, you probably know what you’re in for.

If you’re just starting the game/haven’t started yet, you’ll want to get to level 15 as soon as possible. This is achievable within a day or two at most with moderate play; I’m level 30 now in 3 days.

Make sure to go to Settings, Account to bind your account to a Twitter/Facebook account. This is your cloud save option; without it, you may lose your account or be unable to transfer it to a new phone.

Terrarium: Garden Idle Guide & Strategy

Terrarium: Garden Idle is an idle game in the vein of AbyssRium, AdVenture Capitalist and so on. It finally released for Android so I could play it! It’s a pretty simple game I’ve had fun with so far, so here’s a quick guide to help players getting started.

Updates

The game added some new plants (I think), and most importantly a way to store plants.

Basic Gameplay

Terrarium is a pretty basic “clicker” or idle game. All purchases in Terrarium increase your ability to earn more currency, which is used to purchase more abilities to increase currency, etc etc. Since you’re raising plants, Oxygen is the currency of the game, used to buy everything.

If it’s the first idle game you’ve played, it’s a pretty simple one and you shouldn’t have much trouble. You simply buy and “upgrade” plants and tap them to earn more currency, and also cast “skills” in the rainbow tab to, again, get more currency.

Being an idle game, the first thing to remember is that (almost) no mistakes are permanent. If you spend lots of oxygen, the only currency in Terrarium , on something silly, it doesn’t matter much since you can just earn that oxygen back and spend somewhere else. Above all, don’t stress out and just relax.

Collecting currency also lets you “level up”, and level ups must be claimed by tapping the “level up” button in the top right corner, otherwise experience stops accruing until you do so. Leveling up unlocks plants and shelf space, and gives a bonus of Oxygen.

Just for fun/aesthetics, note you can turn on “night mode” (which literally makes it night ingame) in the gear menu, there’s almost no other settings for now.

Grow Comeback Guide & Walkthrough

Grow  Comeback is the latest Grow game in the series by Eyezmaze, and since I didn’t find much info online when I first played it I made a tiny little guide for it! Grow Comeback is a double entendre; the game is about a literal comeback in-universe, but it’s also announcing the comeback of the Grow series via a crowdfunding campaign by On.

Play the game here on the official site; it takes a minute to load, then scroll down a bit under the ad to get the game. It’s HTML5 not flash so it works on PC and mobile regardless of platform! Watch out for malicious rehosts of the game, play Grow games on eyezmaze.com.

Grow Comeback Endings

Click the items to “use” them, the order in which they’re used affects the outcome. A specific order is required to “win” or see the endings.

To keep things fun, spoilers are staggered, so you can see which item to use first/last to help use process of elimination to figure things out, rather than simply looking at the whole list and spoiling it all in one go. If you know the first item, there’s much less possible mistakes to make.

Makai Wars English Guide, Character Info, & Translations

Makai Wars (魔界ウォーズ ) released on Android and iOS (in Japan only)  in February! As a huge fan of Disgaea I started a guide to both get you started quickly and also detail the more intricate details, all without knowing Japanese. The guide will be expanded over time as new info comes in. As always, you can donate to my Patreon to support my guides!

Makai Wars is a simplified Strategy Roleplaying Game much like Disgaea (and half of NIS’ other games), and it’s Asagi’s very own game! For real this time! No really, stop laughing!

Feel free to ask questions or share info in the comments below or chat in the  Makai Wars channel in my Discord server!

Updates

See the Spreadsheet or skills list for the latest character info.

Guide Updates

What The Heck Is Makai Wars?

Makai Wars (魔界ウォーズ) is a long-running gag in the Disgaea/NIS community. Originally it was announced as a PSP game for E3 2004 and Asagi was to be the protagonist. It was a no-show. It was later re-announced as a PS3 game, which also never materialized.

Since then Asagi has shown up in a majority of NIS tactical games making cameo appearances, usually searching for her game, Makai Wars. She even got a full “Asagi Mode” side story in Prinny 2: Dawn of Operation Panties, Dood (yes that’s a real title).

Finally, in the fateful year of our Overlord 2018, Makai Wars is a real thing and Asagi didn’t lie about it being her game; though it’s basically a Disgaea spinoff title featuring her. It’s a mini-SRPG playing like a simplified version of many of NIS’s other titles, specifically Disgaea.

Tap Tap Fish – AbyssRium: Valentine’s Day Disaster Event 2018 Mini Guide

This is a “mini-guide” for Tap Tap Fish – AbyssRium, with only the Valentine’s Day Event (2018) information, split out to be faster & easier to load on mobile devices. Feel free to Add To Homescreen for easy access! See the complete guide for a more comprehensive set of information or to post a comment, or visit the Addendum below for other relevant posts.

If you have complaints about this event, email [email protected], the Cheetah Mobile PR person responsible for abyssrium

A Valentine’s Warning

So this event is basically the shark-jumping moment for AbyssRium. This event is exploitative beyond anything AbyssRium fans have seen before. This seems to be the point where Cheetah Mobile has completely consumed the original dev team’s intent and wants to milk us for every single penny by destroying the core game unless you pay.

I posted a comprehensive list outlining 19 problems with this event on reddit. I am not in the mood to repeat it here, but suffice it to say, the devs think you are both an idiot and gullible. Song of the Moon was disabled for candy gaining, wait times and an illegal (in Japan and China anyway) gachapon were introduced, they wanted to delete all of our stored candies at the end of the event too. And that’s just half of it at most. It’s all garbo.

Lutie RPG Clicker Guide: Guardians, Stats, & Walkthrough

Lutie RPG Clicker is an extremely cute but rather byzantine RPG Clicker game with very high quality art. It’s a bit hard to keep track of which Guardians have which skills in the game itself, so I decided to make a guide starting with a searchable table of Guardians so you know which ones have the Skills you’d like to upgrade.

As always with my guides, feel free to post in the comments if you have any questions or info to give. I’ll expand this guide if I get more important information of if lots of people want more. I’m a fair ways into Lutie RPG Clicker myself (stage 1,000) so ask anything you like.

Lutie RPG Clicker is the story of an angel in the middle of a great war after Ragnarok. The story is unlocked as you progress the game, though the latest bits of the story are still only in Korean. It plays a fair deal like Politicats and Star Tap, a bit more complicated twist on the usual prestige-focused Idle Game template.
